This Key Performance Indicators (KPI) is the key module under performance management. This is related to the measurement of performance of the key resource: manpower. Though the measurement of performance of other resources such as assets, processes and strategies are equally important, more importance is given to the measuring of performance of manpower. This is primarily because the enterprises today are increasingly shifting to externally focused, customer-centric services strategies from the internally focused, asset-centric command-and-control strategies.
